ABOUT.

Born in Toronto, raised in Scotland, Robert Wood studied at Glasgow School of Art between 1975-80. Since then he has exhibited in the UK and a number of European countries.
From 1982-90 he worked as a part-time lecturer in several UK art schools, becoming a full-time senior lecturer in Fine Art at Falmouth University (formerly Falmouth College of Art) from 1991 to 2011. He was a member of the British Art Medal Society from 1996 – 2006 working with commissions, collaborative and student projects. He has work in public and private collections in the USA, Bulgaria, Canada, Switzerland, Denmark and the UK.
In 2011 Wood finished teaching full-time and moved to Switzerland to work alongside his partner, the artist Mette Stausland. They now live and work near Hjørring in Nordjylland (Northern Jutland), Denmark.

Teaching
